Company Background

The research project that now underpins the Hazer Process was initially developed at UWA over several years, with funding supplied from the Australian Research Council and industry partners including Wesfarmers Limited. After the process’ demonstrated initial success, HazerGroup Ltd (initially called Hazer Pty Ltd) was established in 2010 to commercialise the technology.

On its formation, Hazer Pty Ltd secured seed capital to undertake further commercial development of the technology. It secured further capital in 2014, for additional working capital and corporate development costs. In May 2015, Hazer became a public company and changed its name to HazerGroup Limited.
